Info
In 1948, Al Luberto purchased a small building on Valley Street in Belleville, NJ, that measured no more than 1,500 square feet. With this, he formed a single bay garage and created Riverside Body and Fender Works. Over the years Riverside expanded, one bay at a time, and has since grown to be 9,000 square feet. Al has since retired, but has trusted his quality reputation to his sons. Wayne Luberto took over Riverside Body and Fender Works in 1980 and still stands strong as the president and owner. Over the past few years Wayne’s children have slowly been working their way into the business – learning what makes Riverside so reputable as well as bringing new, innovative ideas to the table.
Through the years, technology in the auto body repair industry has changed, especially in the past few decades. Riverside has kept up with all advancements be it newly developed computer software, equipment or techniques. We insist on keeping up with the ever changing trends but still hold true to classic techniques that cannot be matched by technology.
Our name is our business, which is why we will never release a car without a full inspection and quality check by Wayne himself.
